Abundant Peace United Church of Christ is a congregation of people who proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We welcome people of all socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
We celebrate diversity and proclaim the "All Inclusive" love of Christ accepting people of all race, color, and gender expressions.
This body of believers are agents of change and liberation. We serve God's people by spreading the spirit of love and peace to all mankind. This is accomplished not only by the weekly worship experience but also by using the vehicle of community inter-connectivity throughout the city of Las Vegas.

We Believe …...
We believe in God, the Eternal Spirit, who is made known to us in Jesus our brother, and to whose deeds we testify:
God calls the worlds into being, creates humankind in the divine image, and sets before us the ways of life and death.
God seeks in holy love to save all people from aimlessness and sin.
God judges all humanity and all nations by that will of righteousness declared through prophets and apostles.
In Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth, our crucified and risen Lord, God has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death and reconciling the whole creation to its Creator.
God bestows upon us the Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the church of Jesus Christ, binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues, and races.
God calls us into the church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, to be servants in the service of the whole human family, to proclaim the gospel to all the world and resist the powers of evil, to share in Christ’s baptism and eat at his table, to join him in his passion and victory.
God promises to all who trust in the gospel forgiveness of sins and fullness of grace, courage in the struggle for justice and peace, the presence of the Holy Spirit in trial and rejoicing, and eternal life in that kingdom which has no end.
Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto God.

Rev. Wilfred Moore is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Abundant Peace United Church of Christ located in Las Vegas, where he promotes the Radically Inclusive Love of God to everyone. Rev. Moore, affectionately known as Pastor Wil, works tirelessly to fulfill the mission of God’s Love throughout the city of Las Vegas and the West Coast Region. He teaches that God has no boundaries and freely shares Love to all who will receive it, no matter who you are.
He serves in several regional and national capacities to include; West Coast Regional Assistant Administrator for The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries Int’l under the leadership of Bishop Yvette Flunder. He served as the Moderator for the Eastern Association of the Southern California Nevada Conference – United Church of Christ (2 years). He serves on the Diversity Team with HRC-Las Vegas as well as serving on many boards and committees that speak to the furtherance of good will toward all people. He is currently attending the Chicago Theological Seminary pursuing a Master’s in Religious Studies with a focus on Urban Studies after which he will enter a Doctorate Program. READ MORE

A Native of Chicago, Illinois Rev. Moore was raised in the Church of God in Christ under the local leadership of his 2nd Cousin and Pastor, Elder Johnnie B. Wheeler (New Birth Church of God in Christ) and State Bishop and Civil Rights Advocate, Bishop Louis Henry Ford (1st Jurisdiction COGIC). There he learned the foundations of Social Justice Ministry while dealing with the Politics in a major urban market. Pastor Wil attributes his love for Social Justice Ministry to his high school years at Saints Academy and Junior College, Lexington, Mississippi under the leadership of Dr. Arenia C. Mallory. It was here where he received his foundational training in Church Leadership and Civil Rights for all people.
While he is committed to his office as a Community and Religious Leader, he still finds time to teach Middle School English, where he has done so for more than 27 years. He holds both a BA and MA in Education where he has received numerous awards for his Educational Leadership.
Rev. Moore has an extensive background in the Gospel Music Business and still dabbles in it upon request. He is the father of 1 son, LeRoy, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild whom he loves with all his heart.
